Vanilla-chouli.

I love vanilla & patchouli, but the vanilla in this isn't my favorite type. It's a tropical, burnt sugar sort of vanilla that turns a bit waxy smelling on my skin, mixed with a dry, peppery patchouli. I don't get any of the fruit notes or chocolate.

I'm in love with this one. I bought the little roll on and immediately went back for the bigger bottle. It is the warmest scent, just yummy.
My husband loves it, and notices it every time I wear it.

Very original gourmand fragrance. Lasts well! Scent evolves nicely. Nice vanilla start, then lite fruit and patchouli smell lingers. Wonderful and exotic, yet cozy and comforting all at the same time. I will keep this one around!

Taken by Jane Booke has the most amazing smell. To my nose it has a rich vanilla fruit (mango) smell and is DEFINITELY differnt from most of the vanilla fragrances out there. My husband absolutely loves this one me and he very seldom ever compliments me on any of my fragreance purchases. Jane has a real winner with this one!!! I purchased the roll on and it has good sillage and longevity.

My skin really brings out the patchouli in this scent. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. It's a nice, cosy, sexy scent and yes I think cosy can be sexy!

This is like the perfume version of Body Shop Mango. Not a sophisticated sort of smell at all but very happy and pleasant. I really like it. I see most reviews say vanilla but I get a lot of mango. Good persistence and throw.

I bought the roll-on and gave it to my daughter--had to come back for the big bottle.
It's vanilla but a little creamy with a high note that really pleases me. A little spritz lasts all day.

I love vanilla perfumes, and this one seems to be quite popular. I bought a bottle without ever smelling it before, which is very risky as I'm very picky on my perfumes. But I love this perfume and am very pleased with my purchase.

It a nice vanilla, but reminds me so much of Hanae Mori Butterfly I couldn't give it more than 3 stars. If you like Hanae Mori I'm sure you will like this as well. I need my fragrance a little more complicated.

Bought a sample for my fifteen year old, whose good friend of many years, a male, went absolutely nuts over!!! I thought is was a teeny bit chemical smelling, but then I have been absolutely spoiled about that by SOIVOHLE, where nothing smells chemical. Think I will probably buy for daytime, as it is light, fresh, pleasant..plus, there really is nothing on the market right now as good as this in vanilla, I have been looking for a while!!

I absolutely love this vanilla; true to Ms. Booke's word, it is sexy and cozy and my husband loves it. Note to self: Never try a new fragrance while on antibiotics...I despised this perfume the moment it touched my skin but revisited it a couple of weeks later, post medication, and fell for it. Must be love...

A beautiful scent. Warm, cozy, sweet but not cloying, sensuous. Everytime I wear this people comment on it, some have said it reminds them of marshmallows. Strangers have asked to sniff my neck. The best vanilla perfume I have had.

the goodies. I got this sample and thought
OH NO ANOTHER VANILA? but please please try it
because it is cozy creamy comfy stuff without
walking around like a sugar cookie ....
