Harsh, plasticy notes undermine the simple pleasures of this frag. I had difficulty discerning any leather at all, and found it difficult to wear. There are many better options available.

This doesn't work at all for me: I certainly get "blow-up plastic beach ball" and, possibly, superglue, but no leather notes at all. Zoologist Rhinoceros is a much more straightforward leather fragrance and, to my mind, much easier to wear.

I like my leathers more soft, delicately sweet, and suede-like, where this is a big, bold, smoky black leather with an almost sour, bitter edge to it. It lasts all day and has great throw, and is definitely attractively priced. I can't wear it on its own, but I love it layered with vanillas or sweet resins. Leather fans should definitely give it a try :)

Been searching for the right leather scent for several years.
Owning everything from the original Kolnisch Juchten to Bel Ami - among others - I can give up the search.
Vintage is probably the most true to leather scent available today, bar none. It reminds of 'new' leather or suede. The top notes aren't that great to me but the evolution is the key.

Truly an authentic leather scent. Long lasting and oh-so-sexy on a man. I found it very linear (maybe a little too much) on my skin, but it developed beautifully into a smokier heart on my boyfriend.
