Inspiration
The sensuality of this ingredient is as mysterious as a love potion with all its magnetic and solar powers.I wanted to refine my amber accord by associating it with sandalwood known for its sensuality. This rare association is enlivened by myrrhe, a high dosage of ciste-labdanum and the addictive note of absolute of vanilla from Madagascar. The exclusive character of this fragrance is revealed through the fresh start of Bergamote zest from Calabria, Magnolia petals together with a fleeting orris.
Notes: Bergamot, cistus, magnolia, sandalwood, patchouli, carnation, myrrh, benzoin, vanilla, amber, musk

Subtle, sweet and lovely!

I purchased the Brecourt sample pack and Ambre Noir is in my top 3 of favorites. I adore the base notes of Amber, Vanilla and Musk. It's subtle and doesn't last as long as other Brecourt perfumes I have. Though I like the fact that it isn't a heavy or over bearing fragrance, which often leads me to having headaches. I highly recommend trying a sample of this subtle sweet and beautiful Brecourt scent! I think it's a versatile fragrance for all seasons too.

I love this scent. It lasts, its a bit intense at first but it becomes warm and lovely. Amber!
This might be a little crazy but this once its been on me for a while reminds me of Flex shampoo (70s-80s)a bit, any one else?

Ambre Noir for me is the perfect scent, I am a creative character who does not like heady or musky synthetic scents. Ambre noir gives an instant sense of creativity, and comfort as well as inducing a feeling of confidence. It putting it cruedy is like the best ever 60's inscence, the patchouli is light and the amber mellow, truely the best perfume for any bohimen creative soul.

Definitely not for the younger ladies, but what a lovely scent! Goes on a bit thick and cloying, but fades to a darkly floral scent. Sillage is great.. 12 hours and still going

This scent is superb! My girlfriend uses this one, and I could say this is very sexy. This fragrance (and almost other Brecourt Parfums) are very well blended and smell natural.
The sillage is great and lasts over 12h. This perfume isn't suited for girls, it'll best suited for womens over 23 years old.

From the description it sounded like a very interesting, lovely scent...but instead I found it very reminiscent of Love's Baby Soft. A bit grandmotherly and not at all what I was hoping for.
