Inspiration
My taste for the oriental culture inspired me in this scorching fragrance whereby instinct cohabits with refinement.
Creation
Patchouli from Indonesia asserts itself through the rarefied use of cinnamon from Ceylon. A date accord, a combination of balms (benzoin, ciste-labdanum) and tonka beans for addiction and transports us to a far away place.
Notes:
Cinnamon, bergamot, date, cedarwood, patchouli, tobacco, labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, tonka bean, musk
RIYL:
Woody spiced-up oriental scents
Note: Emilie from Brecourt has advised the name change from Haram to Farah was at the behest of customers from the Middle East.

This smells exactly like Hermes Ambre Narguile, I adore it, got a sample first, it is amazing and hubby loves it too, and the price is right, great, the best.

The description by indiescents is completely accurate. It starts out a bit hot and medicinal but immediately goes into a rich creaminess. The notes really come together as one. I've been going through all my Brecourt samples and this is the first that I've really fallen in love with. Will consider a full bottle purchase.

From the description I was expecting this to be a spicy, warm scent...but unfortunately this smells exactly like Icy Hot on my skin! Rarely do I have the urge to scrub a scent off immediately, but it was so strong and so unpleasant that I feared I would offend my peers.
Maybe it's just my body chemistry, but I will be throwing out my sample of this stuff. Be aware!
