Excellent boozy scent

A gorgeous boozy amber fragrance. Smells old-school, yet modern. Potent, though not overpowering. Great for cold days. In my opinion the best Hendley offering!

This is a very rich and sweet scent...with a kick. I have the EDC as well, which is similar but lighter and I'd say fresher. This extrait adds a little darkness and muscle in a great way.

I thought I would totally swoon for this, but it was really just 'ok' to me.
Woody-amber on first spray, with something dark hiding behind. Dries down to a slightly milder "Grand Soir", and lasts approximately forever.
I would wear it if it was given to me as a gift, but I wouldn't be tempted to buy a decant (or even another sample of it).

There's just a tiny zest in the opening, but that fades quickly into the blend. A warm amber arises, supported by the vanilla. Hints of small spice are noticeable. You'll notice this, especially the next day on your bedding or clothes. This is not a booze-drenched fragrance, as the title suggests. In the dry down, you will get a wonderfully guiacwood, along with one of the best uses of tonka out there. Hendley's Bourbon is certainly worth the asking price. High Recommendation . Very bottle worthy.

This is a stunning scent, just right for fall. So well made. Toasty notes actually invite you to snuggle up with a good book or a good friend. Polished enough to wear out on a formal evening.

Bourbon is such a sexy fragrance. The toasted oak and silky, caramelized, rich booziness really do make one thing of expensive liquors aging in heavy oak barrels. The bourbon vanilla is gorgeous. The labdanum, castoreum and oakmoss come out in the drydown, and the dirty musk and warm, dry earthiness are also wonderful. It's sexy, dark, dirty perfume paired with rich, boozy sweetness and toasted oak. So good.

Of all the lovely Hendleys I have sampled, this is the one that has me huffing my arm in the most ridiculous manner. I am a sucker for orientals, true, but this is the ne plus ultra in my books.
The bourbon vanilla, cognac, castoreum, benzoin, tonka bean and musk just to name a few have my eyeballs rolling back in my head. It is sweet, boozy, smoky perfection. Saving for a FB for the fall/winter months
