At the age of nineteen, Nica Galas published her first book, the autobiographical tome Falling into the Sea, which chronicled her short and torrid love affair among the hot beaches and lemon trees in the Gulf of Naples. The breathtaking story opens with Nica and her girlfriends picking bunches of jasmine flower for boys while they cliff-jumped into the sea. An innocent first kiss erupts into an ardent summer entanglement, which is cut short one moonlit night when her lover leaps into the dark abyss never to surface, leaving Nica naked on the cliffs screaming his name.
WHEN TO WEAR: This scent is sunshine in a bottle. Wear on cloudy days to invoke the ardor of summer.
NOTES: Lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, lychee, tropical flowers, warm sand

Fruity watery fragrance
Beautiful fruity note, sort of peachy, some citrus notes of grapefruit and bergamot, and quite nice watery note (nothing like sea, salt, or similar, just watery impression). So not so typical aquatic and fruity fragrance.

Into the Sea
Tart grapefruit and Cool Water cologne. A simple, pleasant, easy to wear citrus-aquatic scent. Goes slightly soapy on me in the drydown.

Summer in a bottle
This is a unique take on a citrus/floral combo which is hard to find nowadays. I usually pass on summer aquatics but this one caught my interest and the result is a full bottle. The litchi fruit really stands out and gives you an exotic feel for a good 5 hours. Glad I found it!!

Unique summer scent
I find all of Imaginary Authors' scents to be unusual and unique. This one is a delightful scent for summer. Doesn't really evoke the sea or beach for me. There is a freshness to the fruity floral. Only very slightly sweet. Long lasting with a descent throw (but not overpowering). I like this one for casual, warm weather wear.

fruit and water...
I think I was expecting something different here. What I get here is a jolly rancher on the beach. And while I can definitely appreciate it and certainly *get* the warm sand note, can't say I'd wear it. Lychee is listed and I wish that showed up more. This would be great to smell in a room.
