"Picture a huge Christmas pudding, trundled into an oak-panelled dining room illuminated by candles, the wax dripping on to the starched -inen tablecloth. Flaming brandy, sozzled fruit, rich pud, rich people, old wood, soft wax... that smell. This scent came to be when Professor Barry Smith, Head of Philosophy at the University of London School of Advanced Studies, called us and asked for the scent of Christmas Pudding for a television programme the next day. So, Christmas Pudding was recreated, and Barry's assistant came to pick it up. The next day it was on Channel 5; we have the pictures. It seemed a shame to let it go to waste, so we took it and set a scene around it, wrote a story to go with it and, finally, finished the fragrance." ~ Sarah McCartney

Mmm nice!
This is delicious, a great balance between the foodie notes and the cognac/oak. Not overly sweet. Warm, sexy, unique. Love the hint of beeswax.
