While this formulation still recalls a Far Eastern bazaar, and retains all of its musky, deeply sensual amber and tropical, vanilla-esque tonka bean flavors in their original proportions, the presence of alcohol serves to lighten it up and give it some breathing space. In its newly diffused form, the fragrance so it is more noticeable to those in your direct vicinity. The aromas of an exotic bazaar, the air heavy with spices but grounded in the soothing notes of amber and sweet tonka bean.

Initially I get fruity notes, sort of dried fruits, on bed of woody and slightly stinky notes, that over time turn into slightly fruity spicy amber.
Different sites list different notes, some mention ambergris which I could detect as slightly stinky note, there are definitely tonka bean, sandalwood and amber. Nothing is shown that could explain spiciness, but the fragrance is certainly spicy, a mixture of spices as if you walked into a store selling spices. Overall it is somewhat dark warm scent, unisex, with very good performance. Bottle worthy for sure.

The amber and sandalwood in this are creamy, warm and resinous, with the tonka adding a spiced, honeyed vanilla sweetness in the drydown. Turns slightly powdery after a while, but is such a warm, comforting fragrance.

This is luscious! It's been a while since a fragrance has made my eyes roll back in my head at fist sniff, but Geisha Noire did--and it kept getting better and better. The lasting power is incredible; I could still smell it on my arms after a night's sleep. This is the olfactory equivalent of nestling down into a pile of purple velvet cushions while your lover feeds you dark chocolate truffles. It is the perfect nexus between cuddly and sexy, simply made for sweater weather, date nights, and any time you want to feel irresistible.

A pleasant musk with strong vanilla and tonka bean present. I don't get much amber or sandalwood. the dry down is very soapy. it's ok but not my first choice.

Geisha Noire is the best amber perfume I can think of. One of my favourite perfumes!
