4160 Tuesdays moved its headquarters to Hammersmith in September 2019, and perfumer Sarah McCartney wanted to honour the London borough which became her new home. Soooo, she made four fragrances, of which Hammersmith Tea & Biscuits is the first. Hammersmith is on the River Thames, home to the Apollo, two tube stations with the same name, and a wide and varied range of people and eating places. She made Tea & Biscuits as a symbol of the British way of making friends and getting through a crisis, which Hammersmith seems to epitomize. The biscuits featured are wholemeal lemon and ginger with toasted hazelnuts. The tea is black, with oat milk.
NOTES: Tea, biscuits, vanilla, hazelnut, ginger, wholemeal flour, friendliness, hope

This fragrance launched me on an ongoing tea-frag journey. It's perfect for a daily tea and snack break or whenever fortification is needed to face the day ahead. The initial opening and top notes for me are lemon black tea and the drydown is a delicious buttery, soft ginger and vanilla biscuit with occasional sips of tea. Truly edible and gourmand, classy and not overly sugared. I was surprised to have liked this one so much and sprayed it throughout the day and before bed. Longevity is not the strong suit here but worth it for the delicious, comforting scent. I’m such a fan of 4160 Tuesdays!

Crumpets or scones with lemon curd or clotted cream, and other pastries, just yummy.
Actually gives an impression of Hammersmith, London. Full of small eateries scattered around. Multiple food smells mingling around.
I need to use more sprays than most 4160tuesdays. But worth it to smell so yummy. Fabric holds the heart well. If you want a full day, you'll might want to take some with you. Or just keep it for your breakfast.
I like to spray it on my sheets. Just one spray might be enough.
