The color, the texture, and the scent of a lavender field capture for many the essence of Provence. Maria Candida Gentile, is the only Italian Maitre Parfumeur whom studied for three years in Grasse, located not far from Le Luberon .This aromatic perfume is her tribute to the warm sunny days spent in the enchanting town of Luberon.
Luberon is a composition which comes directly from the natural valleys of the south of France in spring. It carries the gently relaxing and comforting scents of this beautiful and happy region, the Luberon. The delicate fresh herbs are blended with an oak musk.
Notes:
Absolute of Bulgarian lavender, maillette lavender (one of the most precious type of lavender), matheronne lavander, may rose, mint, oakmoss, atlas cedar

On me it opens as lavender with almost a pipe tobacco, and dries down to a beautiful cedar/pine fragrance.

I think that Barry Lyndon is the better MCG lavender fragrance. Luberon is creamy, sweet lavender mixed with a bracing, peppermint mouthwash scent. Sharp and clean. The cedar adds a strange, dry, sour wood note in the drydown (and I usually love cedar). I'll stick with Barry Lyndon for my ultimate lavender fragrance.

smells like sweetened lavender on my skin, doesn't change much, it actually smells like a softer, more quiet Chanel Jersey, minus the licorice.
