A vanilla scent that is far from treacly. It has a natural elegant, vital and passionate peculiarity without any sickly sweet traits. The rum and the almond give it an original character with no compromises. Seductive but not suffocating, its trace wafts upon the skin for long, revealing the characteristics of its nature: vegetable, aromatic and gently gourmand. Vanilla is the femme fatale of a film noir set in the South Seas. It is rich, complex and irresistible with all the colors and flavours of the tropics. This is my gift to this fantasy, the idea of seduction.

Vanilla & Smoke
Noir Tropical is a beautiful vanilla fragrance and I feel many vanilla lovers would appreciate this. However I am an extreme Vanilla lover, id say I mainly collect only Vanilla fragrances, and Noir Tropicals notes sound amazing. Rum, Almonds, vanilla what could go wrong. Well, I'll tell you what went wrong, Smoke. I did not realize that there is a very distinct smoke note added with the yummy vanilla, which Is a big no for me. I do not like any kind of smoke or incense in my perfumes so Noir Tropical was a bit of a disappointment for me. Unfortunately. Also the price has gone up quite a bit as well, and if your from Canada or elsewhere it will be more expensive in US dallors unfortunately. I appreciate the lovely customer service of this company I will say! Im happy they had samples to try before I blind purchased this! Thank you!

Beautiful vanilla fragrance!
I am a vanilla lover, but very picky about my fragrances. This is very soft and beautiful. To me this was a sweet and soft vanilla. I purchased a sample and find this to be full bottle worthy for sure.

Vanilla ice cream
Vanilla ice cream with a dash of liquor kept, curiously, in grandma's cupboard.

Maria's DNA
I would like to note that Noir Tropical has the DNA that Maria Candida shares with her other perfumes. Some other perfumes in her line that you might want to sample are Sideris and Exultat. Both are very lovely. Noir Tropical also has one of the nicest sweet/slightly spiced smoke in its dry down.

Intoxicating
When you think of Noir Tropical, it's best to think of it as a rum-extract drink. It's not a smoky, sugary gourmand, but, rather, a soft night of intoxicating delights in vanilla twilight. I have purchased three samples of Maria's Noir Tropical. I believe it's bottle time. Good longevity. Certainly sample worthy.
