In February 2015, Sarah was asked to create a perfume to spray on hotel pillows for people planning a romantic weekend away. It was a tiny batch, then it was going to disappear forever. Hoteliers wanted jasmine, sandalwood, ylang ylang and black pepper, some of the loveliest natural materials on the planet. Sarah's team concocted it quickly, and they were surprised it smelled as good as it did. It seemed a shame that it would be lost forever, so they went back to the formula and re-worked it a little. Sarah named the resulting fragrance Sleep Knot, because she wanted to say it was to help you sleep...Not. Not with all those lovely oils, traditionally used as aphrodisiacs for hundreds - maybe thousands - of years. The name also calls to mind the shapes bodies make when you finally fall asleep with someone with whom you're totally, completely in love: a sleep knot, arms and legs all intertwined, because neither wants to let go.
NOTES: Jasmine, sandalwood, ylang ylang, black pepper

Goes on as sharp pepper and creamy sandalwood and dries down to a very soft, light jasmine and ylang ylang with just a hint of creamy, powdery sandalwood. The jasmine isn't turning sour and is sort of light, sunny and subdued here. The whole thing is light and quiet, only lasting about an hour total on me. Reminds me of a meditative floral blend.

Luminous jasmine and gentle woods with a touch of fizz. Pleasant, sensual and easy to wear. Note: if you don’t like Iso-E Super, I’d avoid this one. Also, I'd recommend this over The Sexiest Scent on the Planet - they're both very similar but this one has better projection and body.

As always, 4160 Tuesdays will surprise you in ways you never imagined. When I first sprayed this, I was prepared to dismiss it as a watery floral. And, as usual, this slapped me in the head with a gorgeous mixture of the innocent and the sensual. It is made both for lovers, and for those who want an evening spritz before cuddling with a good book, a good animal and a knowledge tomorrow will be a greater day.
