This is MY scent
I'm in love with black licorice and Sambuca and this perfume, is so amazing. It's not "sweet", but it is refreshingly delicious. People ask me what is that amazing scent every time I wear it. I'm totally addicted. It comes on a little strong, but within about 10 minutes of sitting on your skin it turns to magic. LOVE this

Love Anise? Love This!
I love the heady top note of star anise and licorice root - it's not a candylike smell, unless you only associate anise with black licorice. I sense it more as the actual spice itself, like when you take a spoonful of the "digestif" fennel seeds at an Indian restaurant on your way out the door and proceed to crunch them between your teeth. It settles into a lovely base of warmth and some incense and smoky notes without being too "oriental" or ambery. Longevity is great, I can spray it in the morning at 5:30 and still smell it around 3 PM.

I wanted to like it but
It smelled like licorice and diesel fuel. the descriptions was stunning but the reality was nauseating!

Gorgeous spicy sweet licorice!
So true to its description, warm and spicy, heavy at first - I only need a little on my wrists and neck, but the sweet licorice smell comes out more and more through the day and ends up being the last note that lingers. Truly beautiful - strongly considering a full bottle!

strong anise scent
At first, this fragrance is a strong, almost overwhelming anise and cinnamon combination. I'm not sure if it is the cinnamon element or something else, it actually burns a bit on my skin for a few minutes. Once the scent mellows, it is a great anise/spice gourmand scent.
