The sky is a thick copper hue, painted in bands of honey, cloves and amber. Below the horizon, sweet basil drifts from dark cedar trees embedded with tobacco leaves beneath the bark. The air is smokey, spicy and slightly sweet. Your mouth creases into a small simper as the presence of fragrance is take in.

Copper Skies is exactly how amber should be: sweet, but not overly, and rich without being headache inducing. This fragrance is spicy, smooth, slightly smokey, earthy and delectable.

NOTES: Amber, cedar, sweet tobacco leaves, honeycomb, basil, cloves

one of the Best I have ever owned...This is for the Very Special occasion to be the Best. Draws a lot of intention.

Six notes, skillfully blended to perfection. Unlike some of Mr.Pegg's other fragrances Copper Skies is a little more linear. It starts off sweet and smokey--though not overly so--and doesn't evolve all that much over the course of the 6 or 7 hours that I could smell it on my skin. Silage is also average. The honeycomb, sweet tobacco leaf and amber are the prominent notes here--though no one ever really dominates--while the cedar and clove weave in and out of the background. The basil is not evident to my nose though I suspect it may add or modify one of the other notes making this fragrance the work of art that it is. I've tested over half of the Kerosene line at this point and Copper Skies ranks a close second behind my favorite from this house, Unknown Pleasures, which I think is a masterpiece for a niche parfum. Needless to say, I've purchased a bottle of Copper Skies too.

I usually use Channel Bleu, but I have become a fan Copper Skies.

I am trying various perfumes. copper skies is good.. and lasts long but it doesn't appear to be strong enough to get compliments from others.. I can't remember anyone commenting on this one. Anyway this smells nice. Far better than many other perfumes available in UK...

  • Can't decide which to buy

I was expecting to like maybe one or two of the scents in the sampler but much to my delight each one of them has something unique to offer. I think John Pegg is an amazing talent and one that perfumistas need to get acquainted with. Now I just have to narrow down the embarrassment of riches to decide which one to buy a full bottle of! I particularly enjoyed Copper Skies, Creature, and Unknown Pleasures.
